Winter is incomplete without a picnic. And all work no play not only makes Jack dull but our employees too. And we believe there is nothing better than arranging a winter picnic to banish the January blues. After a long year and a half of remote work and physical separation due to COVID, Quantumites gathered for our annual picnic to spend time with all the new and familiar teammates. In many cases, the picnic proved itself an opportunity to put faces to the many new names that have joined us while working out of the office. Several employees even flew in from out-of-state in order to spend the 2 days with the team. So, to rejuvenate and boost the battery of all the Quantumites, and to mark the beginning of a new year, we arranged an Office Picnic & Annual Meet-up on 4th & 5th January 2023 at Banobithi, an amusing weekend Eco Resort just an hour drive from Kolkata.

As you can imagine, there was some element of fun for everyone and Quantumites thoroughly enjoyed fine weather near a spacious, shaded pavilion while catching up and playing outdoor games. Our Employees were able to get a taste of the entertaining Outdoor Activities at Baonobithi Resort. Away from the cauldron of chaos, we had a whale of a time at the picnic. We had finger-licking foods and super-fun games including Dumb Charades, Musical Chairs, Tug of War, Football and Blind Hit. We watched and Birds, Cats and Rabbits. Some people even threw a line into the pond to try to catch a fish. The Boys enjoyed splashing into the Swimming Pool for hours. There were several rounds of Football & Tug of War. Most of all, there was lots of eating! The food, of course, was a big focus for the picnic and we had quite a delicious spread.

The picnic was many things but we had one very important purpose for it. We know that being a strong team and a great workplace means more than just the day-to-day business transactions inside the office. This picnic is one of several ways we try to encourage team members to get to know each other better, and to demonstrate how we value them and their families. We also had awards to recognize and appreciate the great work of our people. The picnic was a big hit and hopefully the precedent for many more to come!
