COVID 19 HEALTH ADVISORY

Building Resilience to the Covid-19 Pandemic

We are fully committed to prioritizing the health and safety of our employees, customers, suppliers, and communities while enabling the Manufacturing Industry to continue with its activities, which are essential to our society. Quantum has well-defined disaster recovery and business continuity plans at various levels. We also have a comprehensive pandemics response plan, which is based on WHO and local government recommendations. In the light of the rapid spread of coronavirus, we are constantly monitoring the situation, following applicable government directives and ensuring regular communication with our employees across the world. We have put in place several measures -- including increased precautions at our facilities, travel advisories, remote working where feasible, and a dedicated helpdesk to ensure employee safety and business continuity.

While it is encouraging to see the COVID-19 Pandemic receding in some countries, the increase in new infections across many countries underlines the fact that the threat of the pandemic is far from over. At Quantum, we are taking all precautionary measures based on World Health Organization (WHO), the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), local guidelines laid out by the respective authorities, and recommendations from health experts. We would like to provide assurance to our staff that our offices are fully equipped and designed with all the necessary safeguards to ensure employee safety. Our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), Operations, Human Resources, and Crisis Management teams are on the job 24x7 and continue to assess the situation.

WE STRICTLY FOLLOW

Covid-19 Safety Measures

We are taking multiple steps to ensure that, even as we deal with this unprecedented situation, we deliver on our key client deliverables, while following local government advisories and directives, and ensuring the safety of our employees and communities.

Covid-19 Risk Management

A location-specific assessment has been carried out to evaluate the risk of infection at Quantum Systems with the involvement of all stakeholders. The Risk Assessment is regularly reviewed and updated in accordance with the local regulations, Directions from Occupational Health Experts and Local/International Bodies. Based on the location risk profile, implementation of location-specific control measures are being ensured and reopening of workplaces is being undertaken in a gradual, phased manner.

Covid-19 Vaccination Drive

Quantum Systems recognizes the significance and protection offered by Vaccination against the COVID-19 Virus. We also acknowledge that getting vaccinated is a personal choice of an employee. However, we encouraged all employees to get fully vaccinated through the Employee Vaccination Programs sponsored by the Company. We will continue to support employee vaccination programs by organizing multiple camps at the company premises and arranging green channels at hospitals across multiple locations.

Social Distancing Norms

Discrete measures are being applied to reduce interactions between people and keep physical distance between them on-site. Workstation allocation and occupancy limits have been planned in accordance with the local regulatory requirements. Alternate and diagonally opposite workstations will be assigned to employees to ensure social distancing norms. Quantum Systems advises to maintain a minimum distance of 6 feet for enhanced safety. Workplace Events and Social Gatherings are deferred or suspended.

Hand & Respiratory Hygiene

All the Stakeholders of the Company must follow the Hand & Respiratory Hygiene Protocols outlined in the Covid 19 Advisory Guidelines which includes Wearing Masks, Washing hands properly and regularly, Using a sanitizing hand rub often, Covering the Mouth while Coughing or Sneezing, Avoiding touching the face often and Maintaining Social Distancing. Frequent and proper hand hygiene is one of the most important measures that can be used to prevent infection with the COVID-19 Virus at company or client workplaces.

Facility Sanitization

Workplace Sanitization Plan has been prepared and implemented in line with the local regulatory requirements. High traffic areas and high touch surfaces have been identified for cleaning and disinfection multiple times daily. Common areas and pathways within the premises are being sanitized at regular intervals. Hand Sanitizers are available at strategic locations for employee use. Sanitizing all touchpoints in common areas such as handrails, elevator buttons, restrooms, doorknobs etc., are being undertaken at regular intervals.

Thermal Screening

Thermal Screening at points of entry has increasingly become a standard protocol in numerous parts of the globe in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We strictly follow location-specific thermal screening and self-declaration requirements. Screening workers for COVID-19 signs and/or symptoms through temperature checks is a strategy that we have chosen to implement as part of our efforts to maintain or resume operations and reopen physical work sites thereby preventing the introduction of SARS-CoV-2 into the work site.

Ventilation

Natural Ventilation including opening of windows has been advised when possible and safe to do so. Ensuring proper ventilation with outside air by increasing the air filtration rate helps to reduce the concentration of airborne contaminants, including viruses, indoors. For mechanical systems, we have introduced technologies to increase the percentage of outdoor air and total airflow supply to occupied spaces. Proper ventilation also reduces surface contamination by removing some virus particles.

Travel Advisory

We recommend our Employees to avoid any unnecessary travel, domestic or international, as much as possible for safety. Before Travel, the Employees are advised to get themselves COVID-19 tested in line with the departure, destination and airline requirements. We recommend reduced physical contact and social distancing as far as possible by considering online bookings, web check-ins, self-tagging of baggage and adequate PPE Usage during Travel. Country-specific policies should be referred to and adopted.

Employee Communication & Engagement

Our Enhanced Wellness Services for immediate relief include provision of COVID-19 isolation room facility for asymptomatic & mild symptomatic employees. Social Distancing Protocols with PPE Usage being monitored at workplace. Free 24X7 medical consultation provided for the Employee wellbeing, fitness, diet & nutrition Guidance. We facilitate Usage of mass-mailers, posters, and signages along with Employee e-connects, virtual events and webinars to disseminate ongoing communication on COVID.

CORPORATE RESPONSE TO COVID 19

How Quantum Sets the Example

We always believe that doing something beyond our ordinary workflow and what is necessary for survival is a great virtue. The sudden eruption of the pandemic has taught us to stick together and transform victoriously to prepare for the next normal. Lending empathetic support to the employees is the need of the hour. Protecting our people, operations, and values have been the agenda of our corporate response to COVID-19. Some of our ongoing efforts for building Stakeholder resilience for Covid Response include:

Job Security or Financial Security is the most imminent employee concern in this COVID situation. Offering additional financial support to employees by providing salary advances, small loans and access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a soothing expression of care as we fight this epidemic. Taking actions to keep workers employed, paid, and insured is the bare minimum commitment we adhere to.

Quantum Systems has announced its plans to spend all of its profit for the first quarter of 2022 on its response to the pandemic. A part of this will also be spent on higher wages for workers, personal protective equipment, better cleaning practices at facilities, etc.

Introduced Covid Insurance to all employees as a corporate response to COVID initiative. There is also an option for group insurance if anyone is interested in adding their family members. This is besides our regular employee health insurance that is a part of your compensation package.

We have offered free Management System Advisory Services to many of our clients, who were experiencing a pandemic-induced business collapse. We continue to offer this till they bounce back and become stable. This has boosted their trust in us, and our relationship has grown farther up.

Our CSR Team is staying true to its values even during this crisis. We are able to extend financial support to the needed families and individuals uninterruptedly.
