ECOVADIS SUSTAINABILITY ASSESSMENT
Since its founding in 2007, EcoVadis has grown to become the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 90,000+ rated companies. EcoVadis operates an evidence-based online platform, providing supplier sustainability ratings and allowing companies to assess the ESG performance of their global suppliers. It considers a range of CSR issues, which are grouped into four themes: ‘Environment’, ‘Labor & Human Rights’, ‘Ethics’, and ‘Sustainable Procurement’.
BRSR REPORTING
BRSR Reporting is a framework mandated by SEBI for the top 1,000 listed companies in India, aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability on ESG performance. BRSR requires companies to disclose performance across nine principles of the National Guidelines on Responsible Business Conduct (NGRBC), including environmental stewardship, social responsibility, human rights, supply chain management, employee well-being, business ethics, and governance practices.
GRI Sustainability Reporting
GRI Reporting is a widely recognized framework for ESG reporting, helping organizations communicate their environmental, social, and governance performance in a transparent and standardized way. GRI standards provide a comprehensive set of disclosures, covering topics such as climate impact, resource usage, labor practices, human rights, supply chain management, and corporate governance. It is used globally to demonstrate accountability, drive continuous improvement, and enhance credibility in ESG performance.
TCFD CLIMATE RISK DISCLOSURE FRAMEWORK
TCFD provides a globally recognized framework for organizations to report climate-related financial risks and opportunities. It guides disclosure on governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics & targets related to climate impact. By adopting TCFD recommendations, companies can assess and manage climate risks, improve transparency, and strengthen investor confidence. The framework helps integrate climate considerations into strategic decision-making and aligns reporting with global best practices.
EU CSRD FRAMEWORK
The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is an EU regulatory framework designed to enhance and standardize sustainability reporting. Replacing the Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD), it broadens the scope and depth of ESG disclosures for companies operating in or doing business with the EU. CSRD requires large and listed entities to provide comprehensive, consistent, and comparable information on ESG performance, covering climate risks, resource use, social impact, diversity, and human rights.
